THE ENERGY REGATTA 2008Saturday-Sunday September 27-28, 2008The Total Regatta brings together MIT students with representatives of Total, the fourth largest oil and energy engineering company in the world. The event consists of a two-day fleet race at the MIT Sailing Pavilion followed by a dinner on Saturday evening.In addition, the MIT Energy Club and Total invite all MIT students to a reception on Friday, September 26 2008 at the Stata Center R&D Pub. This event is open to all MIT students. Capacity for the regatta is limited to 50 people so sign up as soon as you can. Sailors of all levels are welcome. Participants will compete by team. Nice food will be provided on Saturday and Sunday. Prizes will include sailing gear and gift certificates from clothing stores.
